Artworks made for Ydreams to be part of an interactive exhibition for families, keeping the focus on the young public. La Fontaine's Fables, by the french writer Jean de La Fontaine, were inspired by a great variety of other famous stories, both Western and Eastern, and adapted to the French verse. For this project I got lots of inspirations from The Little Golden Books and Mary Blair style, to create colorful, magical and nostalgic pieces. The backgrounds relied on textures and brushes tho bring a painterly feel to the illustration, so Adobe Photoshop was the chosen software for this task, whereas the characters and props were all created using Adobe Illustrator.
