The Boy Who Couldn't Sleep is a book about mindfulness for children. The color palette changes as the realms of the fictional world change, progressively going from blue and green tones to a dreamy purple and pink.  When the main character reaches the end of the journey, the two palettes are mixed together, representing that their goals were achieved. 
For this project, I was responsible for creating a believable environment suited for a stubborn boy to live in. The bedroom is filled with his favorite colors and toys, letting the reader know him through nuances and details.
The dream realm looks fantastical and ethereal, filled with magic creatures and clouds. It's located above our own world clouds, hence the likeness with our real world galaxy,
